Folk on the Water is a multi-genre Festival over 2 full weeks - taking part in waterside locations linked by the beautiful Warwickshire canal. Held in 10 venues and outdoor stages it is a FREE festival - offering 15 stages in a variety of events to suit musicians and audiences of all tastes and sizes. Travelling between each event is an 8-berth canal boat that acts as the festival office, floating hotel for artists and cafe for performers and crew. Although there is free entry to every event - audiences are strongly encouraged to donate what they think is the value of the event to one of our charity fund raisers who are present at every venue. Every year we give stage places to emerging artists, international artists and we have a policy of giving some established artists their first ever Headline slot. We are a friendly organisation of passionate volunteers and professionals who strive to support live music and encourage audiences to discover new music.
